Slowly, slowly gets the job done right. Great communication from the start. We spoke several times via WhatsApp and I explained what happened, they told me what the procedure would be with a timescale of 4 to 6 weeks. I picked them because they were recommended by chatgpt after getting several quotes from many Ford recommended garages from Sunderland to Manchester, and because they gave me a fair price and said that they would investigate fully and let me have the full quote before proceeding. I appreciate this because I knew it might be a major repair or replacement engine. I had no idea exactly where their premises were located but it turned out that I should have because their premises are part of a large taxi company which I have dealt with for many years. Bonus for me because it's comforting to know they are very near my home and also people who I trust. They are a very popular business, large, well-presented and very friendly. They took a while to get started due to being so busy but kept me informed many times I got the detailed invoice before they went ahead and once I paid a small deposit to set up the payment they were super quick. It was a major repair and they did suggest several important jobs while my car was in pieces, we went ahead and they were super efficient. I asked for a supplementary repair and the manager agreed but only charged a nominal fee for parts. I really appreciate this kind gesture. When my car was ready they were very co-operative about collection and even cleaned the car before pickup. It was made extremely clear how I needed to treat the new part gently for the first 1,000 miles and that I will need to return two times for a service, they will work for free and I pay for parts. It will probably be at the 5 month service that I get the major service checked to maintain the 12 month warranty as I don't drive very far normally. I am very happy to recommended Apex Engines, very friendly, loads of staff and made me feel very supported throughout the process.

The intial way they (Apex) have dealt with my inquiry has been quite uplifting and positive. It is always good when you start a journey that you have positivity. I hope I can give the team at Apex 5 stars at the next stage. Watch this space

Had my car at 3 garages including Jaguar main dealer, no joy just costs..... took my car to Apex and I must be honest I expected problems..... what i got was great service at a price significantly less than I had been quoted..... completely rebuilt my Jaguar F Pace, great job and a guarantee the comes with after sales service.... don't underestimate these guys, they are very quick and the results where surprisingly good. 10 out of 10.

Best engine repair shop

Do not use this garage absolutely useless had my car over 3 months and comes back running and driving worse than when it went! Came back with the tracking dangerously pulling the car all over the road and the garage thinks they are not obliged to correct it even though they had all the suspension off to get the engine out! Exhaust gases coming into the cab oil in my Coolant still! The car needed to go back straight away he doesn’t cover the warranty he offers expecting you to cover the recovery cost joke of a place also had wheel nuts missing off my car when I went to collect it and my washers now don’t work that he also won’t fix!! Took another 5 weeks for him to then do the warranty work and refused to return the car excepted us to pay £180 after already paying over 4K for the work that was poorly done in the first place and saying he doesn’t cover recovering the vehicle!! Came back from he warranty work with the engine management light still on! Stay away from this garage at all costs!!

ABSOLUTELY 5* FROM ME! Went down to the garage, explained my situation.. BMW 435D 2015 with a knocking noise. They showed me around the garage of all the work they carry out. Quoted me best case scenario and worse case scenario depending on the damage done inside the engine. They had the car collected from my house the same day and started the works. Unfortunately for me it was the worse case scenario but that’s cars and my luck! I received progress pictures throughout and phone calls explaining their findings. Car was completely stripped down, fully rebuilt; crank, block, skimmed head, rings, oil pump, timing chain, recon both turbos and rebuilt within 15 days. Come back with a full 12 month’s warranty and servicing labour included for the first 12 months. I had a query regarding my radiator fan keep coming on, they told me to come down to the garage, they plugged the car in with the laptop, explained the diagnosis and I got it sorted. (Air con low on gas) So far, 639 miles of careful driving running the new engine in and it’s absolutely faultless. Quality, friendly, professional garage. Thanks again for getting me back on the road, would recommend anyone needing major engine work.

520d Msport 2016, injector over fueling caused damage to Cylinder head, resulting oil and water mix and all metal bits going in oil pump. Water pump was also faulty but oil cooler survived with cleanup. Car needed complete service too. Apex did a fantastic rescue job, gave 10 days time but car was ready in 8 days. Great aftercare plan of 1k miles then twice 5k miles service. They keep you well informed at every step with pre agreed costs (no surprise bills). 4th Aug, 22 - (upon completion of aftercare plan at 10k miles service). Excellent service, 8 year old BMW with 180k on clock. My engine seized and 3 other companies said it wasn’t worth fixing and should scrap (£120 for scrap). Apex fully reconditioned it for £2k including new clutch and couple of other bits. Really pleased with the customer service and after-care, take in at 1k miles to check over, then again at 5k and final check at 12k before warranty runs out. Would highly recommend Ali and the Apex team.

I'm seeing pretty positive comments! I brought my car here to change the clutch, and the water radiator broke down, the steering system was not left in the right place, when I went out on the highway the car got out of control, after two weeks the clutch broke again and I was told that it is broke the gearbox, I did not believe this after I took it to the next garage told me that the clutch is not put new! APEX MOTOR charge me £1100 for new parts!

Engine rebuild June 2019 Peugeot Bipper Diesel Found site via Internet,read reviews.Must admit was nervous handing over almost £2000 to a Coy I'd never heard of before but they were near and I desperately needed my van fixed after Cambelt failed so I took the plunge. Took about a week and I have a 6mth unltd mileage g'tee. Thought I'd not review immediately so now after 2mths & approx 10,000 miles ( I'm a Courier ) I can say I'm very impressed.Best £2000 I have ever spent. Guys were brill. Work was Brill. VFM was Brill. Everything was Brill!!!. Can't recommend this Coy enough. Thanks Guys.
