We offer three main engine options so you can match the repair to your budget.

• Our used Range Rover engines are sourced from low mileage donor vehicles and are compression and oil pressure tested before sale. They are the lowest cost route back on the road when the rest of the car is solid.
• Our refurbished engines are stripped, cleaned and inspected, with worn parts replaced before reassembly. A refurbished unit gives you more confidence than a used engine and suits drivers who want reliability without the cost of a full rebuild.
• Our reconditioned engines are a complete in house rebuild. The engine is dismantled, chemically cleaned, measured against OEM tolerances, machined where needed and rebuilt with new bearings, rings, gaskets, seals, timing parts and oil pump. This is the option we recommend for crankshaft failure, severe oil consumption or any engine that has lost compression.

We also carry out engine diagnostics, timing chain repair, turbo replacement, cooling system repairs and DPF and EGR work. If you know the fault, we can quote the repair directly. If not, we diagnose first so you only pay for work you need.

Our In-House Range Rover Engine Rebuilding Process

The in-house rebuilding facility we offer is what sets us apart from brokers who only sell engines. Every rebuild is done by our own technicians in our own workshop, so we control quality at every stage.

We start by removing the engine and stripping it to the last bolt. Every part is cleaned in an industrial parts washer and checked for cracks, wear and scoring. Cylinder bores are measured with a bore gauge, the crankshaft is checked with a micrometre, and the cylinder head is pressure tested.

Parts that fall outside tolerance are machined or replaced. We bore and hone cylinders, grind and polish the crankshaft, resurface and valve grind the head, and fit new piston rings, main and big end bearings, gaskets, seals, timing chains, guides, tensioners and an oil pump. Only OEM grade parts are used.

The engine is then reassembled to factory torque settings and cold tested for oil pressure and compression before it is run. Once fitted, we carry out a full diagnostic check and road test so the engine is proven before you drive home.
